Face checks at renewal

Compare the selfie a professional took at renewal with their passport photo, and record whether it is the same person.

What you will learn

At renewal the professional takes a live selfie. The portal compares it with the passport photo on their profile. Most are Matched and need nothing. The doubtful ones come here for a person to decide.

Step by step

  1. In the left menu, under Registration, choose Face checks.
  2. The Needs a look tab lists the checks waiting for you. Decided and All checks show the rest.
  3. Search by name or registration number, or use Any result and Renewal or sign-in to narrow the list.
  4. Click a row. The passport photo on the profile and the selfie show side by side. If there are several selfies, use the dots to move between them.
  5. Press Same person (a note is optional) or Not the same person (say Why not?), and confirm. The flag is cleared or kept, and your decision is recorded.

What you will see

  • Results: Matched, Not sure, Not matched, No face found, No passport photo and Staff check by hand.
  • Movement says whether the selfie was taken live.
  • A note The passport photo has been changed since this selfie was taken. when the profile photo was replaced afterwards.
  • Your decision also shows on the renewal, in the Face column of Annual subscriptions.
